Dentures
Dentures are artificial, removable prostheses which are fitted to replace missing teeth. Complete dentures are prescribed when there are no teeth remaining. Partial plates are used to bridge gaps, caused by one or more missing teeth.
They are usually made of acrylic resin but may include metal or porcelain reinforcement.
Dentures restore bite, support facial tissue and generally offer great aesthetic benefits. They also eliminate speech problems caused by missing teeth.
